Troubleshooting Zaps on Zapier

We love our integration with Zapier. It makes your life easier and it is easy to use.  Sometimes though, things can go wrong. In this case, our Customer Success Advocates are happy to help - just click Get Help at the top right hand of your screen!

I can't get sample data into Zapier batches up zaps (what would trigger that test properly) and only release them every 5 minutes. So, this can result in the test booking not coming in for 5 minutes. Zapier continues looking for the test until it comes through, which seems like long wait time (which resembles a failed test.) Although the test has not failed, Zapier has suggested these 2 workarounds:
  • Wait until immediately before the 5-minute mark to create a test booking, then test the Zap right at that 5-minute mark to try and catch the zap properly.
  • If that doesn't work, click "Skip Test & Continue", which will pull in sample data that you can use to set up the rest of the Zap.

What information do you need to troubleshoot? 

Unfortunately, we're not able to see the zaps you have set up for your booking pages. So any extra information you can provide will help a lot to getting everything resolved quickly.Go to your Zapier account and go to Task History. You'll see the list of tasks you have set up there. 

Click on one that hasn't worked. There should be some information or error message there. You can also click on 'data out' to get details of what is sending.
