Blocking full days in your Google calendar

  • Navigate to your Google calendar in a new browser window.
  • Click Create new event in the top left corner, then in the new event click More Options
  • Make sure this event is on the same calendar YouCanBook.me is checking for conflicts
  • Check the box "All day" and select the days you are unavailable for bookings
  • Set the event to busy.
  • If you are taking multiple bookings per time slot, add YCBM-OVERRIDE-UNITS to the body of the event.

These days will no longer be available for booking within YouCanBook.me.

Blocking full days in your Microsoft Calendar

  • Create a new event in your Outlook calendar
  • Make sure this event is on the same calendar your booking page is looking at for availability.
  • Check the box "All day" and select the days you are unavailable
  • Set the event to busy.

These days will no longer be available for booking within YouCanBook.me.

Blocking full days with "units per slot" turned on

If you're using Units per slot, you'll need to add YCBM-OVERRIDE-UNITS to block all of your available booking slots. Put this code in the event description of this blocking event. See more here:  Completely blocking time when using Units per slot.
