Can I limit the number of bookings per day?

There are many use cases in which you want to offer a full calendar of availability to your bookers, but only have the capacity for a certain number of bookings in a day. Limiting bookings per day is a feature coming soon to YouCanBook.me, so follow the product updates page for more.

In the meantime, we can offer two workarounds. They are a bit manual, but will help you to offer an open calendar of availability while closing down bookings once you've reached your maximum number.

Manage availability with Custom Availability

With the Custom Availability feature activated, you are in total control of your schedule. You can add or remove blocks of time you want to be booked by creating free events on your linked calendar.

Open your schedule for booking by adding large blocks of time for booking.

When you reach your maximum number of bookings, delete the blocks from your calendar, which will remove availability from YouCanBook.me.

Activate the Tentative booking feature

Tentative bookings allow you to accept or reject every booking that comes through on your booking page. Tentative bookings are identified on your calendar with two question marks.

After you've accepted the maximum number of bookings you want to receive that day or week, you can reject all other bookings and ask your clients to reschedule for another week.
