Add the unique meeting link in your calendar event

Navigate to Notifications > Calendar events on your booking page, and under Event location select the service you are using to generate unique video conference links.

This will add the unique link for that video conferencing service to the location field on your Google or Microsoft calendar.

Setting Google Meet as the event location will add a link to your calendar event that looks like this:
https://testing.youcanbook.me/googlemeet/YETL-NGRL-PXPC. To start the meeting, simply click on the link and it will open the Google Meet window in your browser.

Setting Zoom as the event location will add a link to your calendar event that looks like this:
https://testing.youcanbook.me/zoom/YETL-NGRL-PXPC. To start the meeting, simply click on the link and it will open the Zoom app on your device.

Add the unique link to your confirmation & reminder emails

In your emails to the client, you'll want to provide information about how you will meet. This includes adding the shorthand code that will display the unique meeting link for their call.

To display the unique Zoom link, use the shorthand code {ZOOM}. Based on your Zoom account settings, you may also need to include {ZOOM-PASSWORD} to show the passcode to join your call.

To display the unique Google Meet link, use the shorthand code {GOOGLEMEET}.

In the email your booker receives, this link will automatically be hyperlinked, so they can just click to join the call.

Add the unique meeting link to your SMS reminders

In SMS reminders, adjust the shorthand code used to share the unique meeting link, so that the link is displayed correctly.

To share a Zoom link in the SMS reminder, use the shorthand code {ZOOM-LINK}

To share a Google Meet link in the SMS reminder, use the shorthand code {GOOGLEMEET-LINK}

The SMS service will automatically hyperlink these links when they are received by the client.

Allow the booker to choose between Google Meet and Zoom

On your booking form, you can add a multiple choice question, and give your client the choice of which video conferencing service they want to use to connect with you.

Based on their answer, you can use Conditional Statements to provide that specific link to your client.

Follow this guide on conditional statements to set that up
