Conditionally sharing your Zoom link

Problem: You only want to display your Zoom link in your confirmation emails if your booker selects a certain type of appointment, or selects an option on your booking form.

Solution: Use conditional statements in your email to customize your communications to your booker.

Conditional statements based on an Appointment Type
Conditional statements based on a Booking Form question

Conditional statements based on an Appointment Type

Under Times & Availability > Appointment Type setup each appointment you would like to offer.

The shorthand code for Appointment Type is {TYPE-NAME}.

In your confirmation emails you'll set conditional statements to display the Zoom link only if they select a Zoom Consultation.

{IF}{TYPE-NAME}{EQUALS}Zoom Consultation{THEN}I'm looking forward to speaking with you on Zoom via this link:{ZOOM}{ENDIF}

{IF}{TYPE-NAME}{EQUALS}Phone Consultation{THEN}I will call you at the number you've provided: {PHONE}{ENDIF}

In your calendar event (Notifications > Calendar Events) select No location, and add the same conditional statements to the body of your calendar event.

Conditional statements based on a Booking Form question

You can add a multiple choice question on your booking form to ask how your booker would like to meet. Set a shorthand code for this question that you will use in your conditional statement.

 In your confirmation emails you'll set conditional statements using your selected shorthand code to display the Zoom link only if they select a Zoom meeting.

{IF}{CALL}{EQUALS}Zoom{THEN}I'm looking forward to speaking with you on Zoom via this link:{ZOOM}{ENDIF}

{IF}{CALL}{EQUALS}Phone{THEN}I will call you at the number you've provided: {PHONE}{ENDIF}

Once you've formulated your conditional statements you can copy and paste them into reminder emails and SMS.

In your calendar event (Notifications > Calendar Events) select No location, and add the same conditional statements to the body of your calendar event.
