Allow group bookings per time slot only at certain times

The Group Bookings feature allows you to take more than one booking in all open time slots. Here's how to manage it when there are certain days or times you want to take less than that set number of bookings. 

Reducing booking slots on a day

Under Times & Availability > Duration & Display, set the highest number of bookings you want to take in any time slot. 

For the days you want to take less than that set number, create a busy event on your linked calendar, and add YCBM-UNITS-X in the calendar event description, where X is the number of slots you want to block from being booked that day. If you create an all-day event, make sure to set it to busy.

In this example we've set units per slot to 10 but on Monday we are blocking 9 slots so each open booking time on Monday will only take a single booking, then that time will no longer be available.

Reducing booking slots for a certain time

You can also block out certain hours if you want to reduce the number of slots available during a period of time during the day.

Under Times & Availability > Duration & Display, set the highest number of bookings you want to take in any time slot. 

For the period of time you want to take less than that number of bookings, create a busy event on your calendar and put YCBM-UNITS-X in the description of the event, where X is the number of slots you want to block during that time. 

In this example we've set units per slot to 10 but for the 2pm slot we are blocking 9 slots using YCBM-UNITS-9 so only 1 person can book into the 2pm slot.
