How to Buy SMS Credits

SMS credits can be purchased by both free and paid accounts, as the credits are purchased outside any monthly subscription costs.

How to buy SMS credits

SMS credits can be purchased on the Your Account page by clicking Buy SMS credits.

Purchasing 200 credits or more will qualify for volume discount. Use the slider on the SMS purchase page to select how many SMS you'll need. 

Once you've decided how many credits to purchase continue with your purchase by entering your billing details or selecting the card on file to be charged for the purchase. 

1 SMS credit can send up to 160 characters. The minimum purchase is 20 credits. Credits are 7¢ (US) / €0.05 (EUR) / 5p (GBP). Learn more about using SMS to keep your bookers engaged

An email will be sent to you when the total number of SMS credits falls below certain thresholds (100, 50, 10) to allow you time to login and purchase more SMS credits. 

Sharing SMS credits with your team

The Account Owner purchases SMS credits for the entire team. SMS credits are be shared among all booking pages that have SMS notifications configured.

Navigate to your Account settings, and click Buy SMS. Use the slider to select how many credits to purchase - a volume discount kicks in on the slider with more than 200 credits purchased. 

An email alert will be sent to the Account Owner when the total number of SMS credits falls below certain thresholds (100, 50, 10) to allow you time to login and purchase more SMS credits. 

Admin account SMS (deprecated account model)

On older accounts using Centralized billing, the Admin account must purchase the SMS credits, not the sub-accounts. 

The total number of credits will sit in a central "pot" on the Admin account. When the sub-accounts take bookings and SMS messages are activated, all the sub-accounts' SMS credits will be taken from that central pot.

SMS credits purchased by sub-accounts will not be used and will result in SMS not being delivered. 

An email will be sent to the Admin account when the total number of SMS credits falls below certain thresholds (100, 50, 10) to allow you time to login and purchase more SMS credits. 

If the sub-account has mistakenly purchased SMS credits, please contact support to have those credits transferred to the admin account.
