Adding Google Meet links to the calendar event
If you have Google calendar integrated with YouCanBook.me, you can choose Google Meet as your event location on your bookings. This will add the unique Google Meet link to the location field of the calendar event when you receive a new booking.
Navigate to Notifications > Calendar Events.
Click on Add event location, and select Google Meet from the dropdown list.
If Invite participant to calendar event is toggled on for your booking page, new bookings will also be added to your client's calendar with the same Google Meet link in the location field.

The unique Google Meet link will become active 30 minutes before the start of the meeting. To start the meeting, simply click on the link and it will open the Google Meet window in your browser.
Selecting Google Meet on a team booking page
On a team booking page where all team members are taking bookings on a Google calendar, you can set Google Meet as the location of the meeting under Notifications > Calendar Events.
Click on Add event location, and select select Google Meet from the dropdown list.
Once the location is set as Google Meet, unique Google Meet links will be added to each team members calendar event when they receive new bookings. If Invite participant to calendar event is toggled on for your booking page, new bookings will also be added to the client's calendar with the same Google Meet link in the location field.
If any of the team members connected to the booking page are not using Google calendar, Google Meet links will still be generated for their bookings, but those links will not be active.

The unique Google Meet link will become active 30 minutes before the start of the meeting. To start the meeting, the team member will click on the link in their calendar, and it will open the Google Meet window in their browser.
Adding Google Meet links to your confirmation & reminder emails
Use the shorthand code {GOOGLEMEET} to add the unique Google Meet link to your confirmation and reminder emails. Be sure to include this shorthand code so your client can easily access the meeting link from their email.
Editing the Google Meet hyperlink text
Instead of displaying the Google Meet link in your confirmation emails using {GOOGLEMEET}, you can hyperlink your own custom text that your client will click to join the Google Meet meeting by using {GOOGLEMEET-LINK}.
This shorthand code will display the raw Google Meet link that can be formatted into a hyperlink using this Markdown format:
[your text]({GOOGLEMEET-LINK}
Google Meet for group bookings
If you are taking group bookings on your booking page, Google Meet will generate a unique link for each separate booking. This means although multiple people have booked the same time, they will end up in different Google Meet rooms.
It is recommended to share a static link in the location field of your calendar event for group bookings, ensuring that everyone enters the same room at the same time for your group call.
