You've booked a meeting with someone and a new event has appeared on your calendar. You see a YCBM link reference in the body of the calendar event - can you use that to join the meeting?
This feature is available on all our plans, including the Free one.
What is the YCBM link ref?
This is an internal code YouCanBookMe uses to communicate with the event on the calendar. If any changes are made to the event - deleted, moved, updated title - YCBM can update the event on our end too. Without this YCBM link ref, we can't "see" the booking.
How can I use the YCBM link ref to join a meeting?
The link ref cannot be used to join a meeting booked through YCBM.
How do I join a meeting I booked on YCBM?
The person you booked with should provide details on how you will join the meeting. These details may appear on the event added to your calendar, or in your confirmation email you received.
It could be a video conference link, a phone number, or a physical location.
You don't need to create a YouCanBook.me account to join a meeting. If you don't see directions on how to join the meeting in your email or on your calendar, please reach out to the person you booked with so they can assist you.
