YouCanBookMe is enhancing the security around the email addresses you can send from within your booking page settings. This measure will prevent anyone from sending email notifications from email addresses they don't own.

When to verify an email address?
Your account email address and the calendar account you've integrated are automatically verified through YouCanBookMe when you create your account.
You will need to verify your email address when you attempt to send an email from an email address that is not your verified YouCanBookMe account email address or calendar account email.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Google and Yahoo have announced they will prevent third parties from sending emails from @gmail.com or @yahoo.com email addresses. From February 1, 2024, these notifications will be sent from notifications@youcanbook.me instead. To continue sending notifications from a @gmail.com email address, you can use our Gmail integration.
How to verify the email address?
Your account settings will alert you when you enter a non-verified email address under Notifications Actions. Click Verify it in the alert to confirm that this email address belongs to you.
Use the link in the verification email to verify your email address. Once the link is clicked, the email will be verified for your account. You can now use that verified email address to send notifications to any email address you specify.
Continue clicking Verify emails in the yellow account banner until all emails are verified.
How to verify a team member's email?
On a team booking page, you can send confirmation emails from the team member receiving the booking using the shorthand code {TEAM-EMAIL}. If you see the yellow warning sign on one of your team booking pages, that means one or more of your team members' emails need to be verified so we can send them from their email addresses.
Click Verify your team emails to Send a verification email to each team member to confirm ownership of their email address. They simply need to click on the Complete Email Verification button in their email, and you'll be able to send emails through YouCanBook.me from their email address.
Continue clicking Verify emails in the yellow account banner until all emails are verified.
What happens if I don't verify my email address?
If you don't verify your sending email, emails will be sent from YouCanBookMe instead of your designated unverified email address and will include extra messaging in the body of the email.
