Ask for a resume, coursework, or identification at the time of booking and send it straight to your Dropbox account.
This feature is available on all plans.
You can use the Dropbox File requests feature to easily request a document upload from your bookers. Here's how.
1. In your Dropbox account, head to https://www.dropbox.com/requests. Select "New request" and fill out the details to set up a new folder that will receive the uploads. You can create a different request for different booking pages, or even different appointment types.
Select 'Create', and copy the link that Dropbox has generated for that folder.
2. In your YouCanBookMe account, you can add the copied link anywhere that you want to request the upload from your bookers.
- Thank you page: add the link to the thank you page so bookers immediately see the request when they have booked.
- Confirmation email or SMS: add the link to the first notification they receive about the booking, so they have the information they need for next steps.
- Reminder notifications: include the link in your reminders to give them a nudge
Here are some other ways you can use this feature.
Make bookings conditional upon the uploaded document.
Using the Tentative feature, you can add the Dropbox link on the initial email that lets clients know you have their request and you will confirm soon. When you receive the upload, you can decide whether or not the booking can proceed.
Create different links for different appointment types
If you are using the Appointment Types feature to display different meeting options, you could create a different Dropbox file request link for each option.
In your notification, use conditional statements and the link that shows will be the correct one for the Appointment Type option that was selected.
