By default, the emails that are sent to your booker come from your YouCanBookMe account email address. You can modify this to send emails from another email you own, or the Team member that was booked on a team booking page.
This feature is available on all our plans, including the Free one.
Change the sending email address
For the booking page you would like to edit, navigate to Notifications.
Under the first notification trigger After new booking is made, click on the Confirmation email to Booker.
In the From section, click Edit next to your email to change the sending name, and in the From email box, select one of the verified emails in your dropdown menu, or select Add new email address.
You will be prompted to verify that you own this email address.
Repeat this process to change this sending email address all the email notifications you have set up to go to your booker.
Integrating Gmail?
If you've integrated Gmail with YouCanBook.me, all emails that send from your booker will send from the same email address. You can edit the sending name on the email, but to change the email address you'll need to remove your Gmail integration.
Verify the new sending email address
Your account email address is automatically verified through YouCanBook.me when you create your account.
Any other address you want to use to send notifications to your booker needs to be integrated before using.
Click the Integrate your Gmail account link in the alert to confirm that this email address belongs to you. This will trigger an email to the email address that needs to be verified. Clicking on the button in the email will complete the process.
Send the email from the Team Member booked
On a team booking page, you can select to send the email from the team member booked by selected {TEAM-EMAIL} from the dropdown menu.
How to change the sending email address with Gmail integrated
If you go to your Confirmation email to booker and see the message "You've integrated Gmail" that means all email will send from the Google based email you've integrated with YouCanBook.me.
You can only integrate one Gmail account with your YouCanBook.me account - that email will be used to send all notifications to bookers on all of your booking pages.
To modify the sending name, click on the name in the From section. Or to change the sending email, you can disconnect your Gmail integration.
