In your booking page settings under Calendar & teams, you can configure which calendars you want YouCanBookMe to check for availability.
There are three different ways YouCanBook.me can consider your availability on a booking page, or the availability of your team. YouCanBook.me pricing is based on the number of calendars checked for availability across all of the booking pages in your account.
Link to a single calendar
This is the basic booking page setup. YouCanBook.me will check a single calendar in your integrated calendar account for any conflicts, and also add new bookings to this same calendar.
Navigate to Calendar & Teams. Click edit to see a full list of calendars you can linking to your booking page for availability. Select the calendar you want us to check for conflicts. Click Next, and then Finish & Save.
Any busy events on this selected calendar will block out your availability automatically on your YouCanBook.me page.
Part of a team account?
We recommend turning on Teams under Calendar & teams, even if you're setting up a booking page for an individual. This will allow you to connect to an individual calendar and generate unique video conference links.
Linked to multiple calendars for combined availability
You can ask YouCanBook.me to check multiple calendars for conflicts and only display open booking times when there is availability across all calendars.
Your subscription price will be based on how many calendars are being checked for conflicts.
Try this solution if:
- you keep separate calendars for your work and personal life
- you are booking internal meetings and more than one person needs to be present
- you need to check both your calendar and the conference room schedule
Navigate to Calendar & Teams. Click Edit to see a full list of calendars you can connect to. Select as many calendars as you want us to check for availability. Bookings will be initially added to a single calendar, but the other calendars can be invited as participants on new bookings.
Your booking page will only display available times for booking when all selected calendars have free time available. Any busy event on any of the calendars selected will render that time unavailable for booking.
Allow team members to be booked independently on the same booking page
You can create a team booking page which connects multiple team members to their own unique calendar, so they can be booked independently. You create a single link to share with your clients that represents the entire department or team.
Try this solution if:
- You have a team of people who can accept bookings and you want their calendars to act independently of each other
- You have separate locations and want to offer different availability for each location
- You have multiple resources that can be booked independently of each other
To set up a team booking page, navigate to Calendar & Teams. Toggle Teams to On. Create a different team member for each member of your team, including adding their name, email address, correct calendar to check for conflicts, and connecting their Zoom account if needed.
