YouCanBookMe offers an iCloud calendar integration.
Since Apple requires an app-specific password, as well as two-factor authentication, to connect to third-party applications like YouCanBookMe, you will need to make sure you set up an app-specific password first. Follow the guidelines below to get started.
Note: We've come across an issue with Tentative bookings not syncing properly with iCloud. Our team is currently looking into this issue and we'll make sure to keep you updated as soon as we have more information. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Additionally, please be aware that the calendar-managed availability feature will not work for iCloud integration, as there is currently no option to mark a calendar event as free.
Setting up an app-specific password
- Sign in to https://appleid.apple.com/.
- On the Sign-In and Security page, select the Account Security box to turn on two-factor authentication.
-
In the App-Specific Passwords box, select Generate Password.
- Enter a password label (for example, "YCBM"). Then select Create.
- Copy the app-specific password. Please note this isn't saved for you in your iCloud account, so be sure to make a note of it.
Connecting your iCloud calendar to YouCanBookMe
- Click the icon on the upper right of your account settings to access your Integrations.
- Locate the iCloud calendar integration and click on Connect.
- Enter your iCloud email address and the new app-specific password as the password to connect your account.
- At this time, Calendar-Managed availability is unavailable for the iCloud integration as there is no way to set an event as "Free." Please contact our Support team if you have any questions.
