How to set up a no-show notification
You have the option to set up a webhook, email, or SMS notification to send to your booker when they are marked a no-show.
1. Navigate to your Dashboard, find the booking page, and click the pencil icon to Edit settings
2. Click Additional options > Notifications > If booking marked as no-show
3. Click the "+" to add a notification for email, SMS, or webhook.
SMS credits are required to send SMS notifications. You can purchase credits in your Account Settings.
4. Finally, decide when to send this notification.
To send immediately, set to 0 minutes after a booking is marked as a no-show. Additionally, you can use our email template or create a customized message to be sent to the booker.
Marking a client a no show through email or SMS
To mark the booking as a no show without logging in to your account, add the shorthand code {NO-SHOW} to notifications and SMS sent to you and your team members.
Click on Notifications After appointment ends + Email or SMS
Set the email to be sent to you or your team member {TEAM-EMAIL}. Then add the {NO-SHOW} shorthand code to be clicked if the booker does not show up.
Then when the email arrives you or your team member will click the button in the email:
Marking a client a no-show through the booking dashboard
The option to mark a booking as a no-show will appear on your bookings dashboard after the appointment has started, and will remain as an option up until 1 week after the booking passes.
On the booking you want to mark, click the arrow next to Details, and select Mark as no show.
On the pop-up modal, confirm which notifications you want to send to your booker when marking as a no show.
Keep the box checked to send the notification, uncheck the box to prevent the notification from sending.
You can also click Edit on any notification, to customize the content before sending.
Click Mark as no show to confirm the actions and send the designated notifications.
If you've marked a booking a no-show by accident, you can immediately use the Undo link in the green confirmation pop-up to undo the action.
Or you can use the Undo No Show option in the booking details:
Once marked, the booking will carry a tag on the dashboard.
After marking a booking as a no show, Account Owners can still choose to Rebook them for a new appointment, which will carry over all of their original booking form data.
Reporting on No-shows
In your data export, you will see a new column titled No Show, and any bookings marked as no show in your bookings dashboard will show TRUE.
