Outlook has several different availability configurations. This setting can be found when creating an event on your calendar, or by editing the event directly in your calendar.
This feature is available on all plans.
Free/Busy status of Outlook Calendar events
- FREE: This will not block your availability. Set an event in your calendar to Free if you are using Calendar Managed Availability, or to indicate specific events on your calendar without having those events block your availability.
- WORKING ELSEWHERE: This status will be treated as Busy time and will block your availability.
- TENTATIVE: This status will be treated as Busy time and will block your availability.
- BUSY: This status will be treated as Busy time and will block your availability.
- AWAY: This status will be treated as Busy time and will block your availability.
All-day events in Outlook Calendar are set to Free by default. Regular events are set to Busy by default.
If you're still running into issues with your availability, use the troubleshoot button in the top left corner of your live booking page to identify why you are unavailable.
If you receive the "We can't cannot connect to your calendar" message, please notify our Support team for assistance with clearing your calendar database.
