Using Zoom for Video Conferencing
The first step to setting up Zoom as a video conferencing option is to integrate your Zoom account with YouCanBookMe. Head over to your account settings (on the upper right corner of your dashboard) and integrate your Zoom account.
Next, to add your Zoom integration to your booking page, navigate in your booking page settings to the "What" section to set up video conferencing.
Once you have Zoom set as your meeting location, a unique meeting link will be generated for every meeting. Both you and the booker will be notified of the meeting link in the booking related confirmation email and on the calendar event.
Things to note
- The meeting link will look like
https://test.youcanbook.me/zoom/ABCD-EFGH-IJKL
and at the time of the meeting, the link will open up the Zoom app on your device. - You can add the shorthand code {ZOOM-LINK} to additional confirmation & reminder emails to reshare the meeting link with your clients.
- Setting up Zoom for teams requires that all team members have Zoom integrated with their account. Watch the video below and use this guide: Connect to multiple team members zoom accounts to get your team using Zoom for conferencing.
Using Google Meets for Video Conferencing
If you have connected a Google calendar to your booking page, you can choose to select Google Meets as your event location. This will generate a unique meeting link for each of your bookers and put that link in the location section of your calendar event.
Things to note
- The meeting link will look like
https://test.youcanbook.me/googlemeet/ABCD-EFGH-IJKL
and will open up Google Meet in your web browser - You can add the shorthand code {GOOGLEMEET} to your confirmation & reminder emails to share the link with your clients.

Using Microsoft Teams Video Conferencing
If you have connected a Microsoft Outlook to your booking page, you can choose Microsoft Teams. This will generate a unique meeting link for each of your bookings.
Every generating meeting link will automatically appear in the calendar event, confirmation emails, and reminders.
Things to note
- The meeting link will look like
https://test.youcanbook.me/msteams/ABCD-EFGH-IJKL
and will open Microsoft Teams on your device - Add the shorthand code {MSTEAMS} to your confirmation & reminder emails to share the same link with your clients.

Set a Physical Location
Navigate in your booking page settings to the "What" section. In the section "How do you want to meet", select Set an address or place to add a physical address to your bookings. On Google Calendar, this address will be turned into an active Google Maps link. You can later reference the location in your confirmation and reminder emails using the shorthand code {LOCATION}.
Share a Static Meeting Link
Show a static video link or other text. This is a great option for group webinars, or if you are using another video conference service. Add your static video link to the location field to share that link with your booker.
Offer Multiple Locations
- Enable the option to allow your bookers to select their preferred meeting location. When a client selects where they want to meet, the location will automatically be added to the calendar event for the meeting, to your notifications (either email or SMS), and will be included in all of your data reporting.
Phone Call Option
- Ask for the booker’s phone number. If you choose this option a phone number field will be added to your booking form to collect the booker's number number.
- The phone call option allows the user to select if the number should be a mobile one.
Request a Location
- Ask the booker to enter an address.
No Location
- Location is not necessary for the booking. Simply reserve an event on your calendar.
