Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
-
Will Zoom meetings appear in my Zoom dashboard?
- Zoom meetings generated by YouCanBookMe will not appear in your Zoom dashboard. When a meeting is booked, we create the link as a placeholder to allow for cancellations and reschedules. That means we are not unnecessarily creating Zoom meetings that don't happen, or risk Zoom links becoming stale.
-
When does my Zoom link become active?
- The Zoom link becomes an active link 24 hours before the start of the meeting.
- Clicking on the link more than 24 hours before the start of the meeting, you'll see the message "This meeting has not yet started."
-
Does my client use the same link as me to join the meeting?
- Yes, both you and your client use the same link to join the Zoom meeting. As long as you are logged into the same Zoom account that is integrated with YouCanBookMe, you will be recognized as the host of the meeting.
-
How can I stop my clients from being prompted to enter a passcode to join the meeting?
- In your Zoom settings, make sure the option to Embed passcode in invite link for one-click join is toggled on.
- With this setting turned on, YouCanBookMe will embed the passcode in the link and your clients will not need to enter any passcode to join.
